The Opportunity: We’re looking for the person most bent on monetizing the heck out of Greatist, someone who can’t wait to create an innovative social sales program from (mostly) scratch plus build lasting friendships with aligned clients, brands, & agencies. We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic and genuine, but willing to run through walls to get things done. Someone who is self-motivated, creative, and ready to experiment and exhaust opportunities for generating meaningful revenue. We’re not looking for just a “sales” person, but someone who loves Greatist, sees the opportunity we’ve got, and can’t wait to dig their teeth into building something special from it — someone who believes they can and will become the absolute best at this. Comfort working with an editorial team and 1+ years of sales experience with an online media brand a plus.
The Details: Greatist is a health and fitness media startup on a mission to make better choices easier for everyone. Launched in 2011, it’s now the fastest-growing site in the health space with nearly 2 million unique visitors every month. It’s becoming the first truly trusted health & wellness brand and business. This is a paid, full-time position at Greatist HQ in Manhattan, with a salary range of $28-32k/year and uncapped commission. Greatist also provides gym memberships, daily lunch fixins’, and healthy snacks along with enormously flexible work hours, an open vacation policy, and awesome team health and fitness activities (not to mention happy hours).
